1 Thessalonians 4:17
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
Cherie K. from Lexington, NC said:
We who are alive in Christ. We who have accepted the gift of life. We have because JESUS died on the cross for sinners.
It is not what we do, but what He did for me.
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been save that not of yourself. It is a gift of God.
Repent confess your sins. Accept Jesus as Lord. John 9:28-29

I sometimes try to picture what that will be like, why Jesus returns and we are caught up to be with Him in the air, along with all the others who have been born again ahead of us and have passed on. I personally believe we will be caught up for only a short time and then all will return to earth with Him, where we will remain for 1000 years. He leaves a lot for us to imagine. Call more into the kingdom, Lord, as I'm sure we all have family or people we know who are not yet in the book of life Amen..

And what an exciting day that will be! To finally be with the Lord. Now many (maybe some of you) believe the "rapture" will happen first - before the 7 year tribulation period and then Christ will come (with all belivers) to set up his kingdom after they seven years. I used to be in this camp, but after careful study of Eschatology (End times), I am convinced that the rapture will take place at the end of the tribulation period, which by the way, is only 3 1/2 years. But regardless if we are pre, mid or post trib rapture beleivers, we are still ALL believers in Christ as or Lord and savior and if we are still alive at that time, we are all promised this day. Would love to hear your thoughts! ( :

The Lord will come down .... the dead in Christ will rise first ... we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them (the dead who rose) to meet the Lord in the air.
Any questions? ... this seems so clear! We will then be with the Lord forever! Be encouraged! We can look forward this day!
