I found this letter of Paul's disjointed. It's like we are missing the story. But I liked this part where God uses us to spread the aroma Of knowledge of him.

Key words: But Thanks be to God, and our key word for victory is THANKS, are triumphant God who fights our battles. A true and lasting Victory only comes through Jesus Christ.

Yes, Peter. We are to reflect Christ to the best of our ability, and be thankful for His example to us, that we may emulate Him. Help us Lord to be more like You. Amen. Stay warm and encouraged through your faith in Him, Peter. PS: Predicting 1 degree over night here Peter, and is right now very windy and raw. Wind speed about 27 mph and gusting higher. brrr...!!!

2 Corinthians 2: 14-16 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15-16a We, as Christians, if we're spending time with God on a Regular basis, will have the savour and fragrance of God. As we go thru the world, and come across others who have eternal life, they will have the same savour and fragrance and it's sweet. But those who don't have eternal life, and God's Spirit hasn't opened their hearts to Him, the fragrance will be not so nice. I believe that's because like attracts like. If you ate garlic last night, you'll wreak of garlic except to someone who also ate garlic last night. Those who don't have eternal life, have the aroma of death, and the aroma of Christ is just as offensive as the smell of garlic. Now there's another aroma that's offensive to both the above categories of people, and that's the ones who call themselves Christians and don't spend time with God on a regular basis. They claim to love God, they may even go to church regularly, but live like the rest of the world. Those are the ones that smell REALLY offensive to all who are concerned. According to John 3:17-21, the message of the gospel is life to those who've received it, and death and condemnation to those who haven't. It's not that we as Christians actually condemn folks who don't have eternal life, and God doesn't condemn them either, but by rejecting the free gift of eternal life they condemn themselves. They say a loving God would NEVER send anyone to hell, but yes, God loves you, but love isn't what gives you eternal life, it's grace. God doesn't send anyone to hell, they send themselves there by rejecting the free gift. Papa God, please open the eyes of those who haven't received Your free gift of eternal life that they may receive that free gift and spend forever with You in heaven. You said in Your Word that You desire that NONE should perish but ALL would come to eternal life.

Captured By The Love Of Jesus Christ! Paul knew something about this. He said, "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live: yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Gal. 2:20).
He realized that the old life of the flesh had to be put to death daily, so the indwelling Holy Spirit would not be hindered by any impediments in his life. His life was an absolute captive of Jesus Christ. He was not concerned if he could maintain his physical status...all of this was committed to the authority of Christ. It was not his life that was of ultimate significance, but, that the life of Christ might live in him and through him. He had no other interest, no other purpose, no other goal in life. He was Captured By The Love Of Jesus Christ! He said, "Brethren, this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 3:13-14). He was consumed with Christ being in total command of his life, and Paul, being a "captive" in the train of Christ's triumphs. You might say, "What about those he encountered day by day? Wasn't he concerned for their welfare, their spiritual state, and growth in grace?" You bet he was! But now he was viewing those people from God's perspective, not his own. The compassion of Christ now enlarged his vision, and the love of God now compelled him to be a debtor to all men. He was motivated by ONE outside of himself - Jesus!. He now appropriated the boundless resources of God in Christ Jesus, whereby he said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Phil. 4:13). He was Captured By The Love Of Jesus Christ! What a glorious realization!
But there is more! To so live, is to know the joy and blessedness of being led of God, who "always causes us to triumph in Christ [who leads us in a triumphal procession as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those that are being saved and those who are lost. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life" (2 Cor. 2:14-16). Wow!
"We are to God the aroma of Christ"--the essence of His life being manifested through us, His grace exemplified in our walk, His compassion seen in our response to others, and His servanthood molding our character. The "aroma of Christ" penetrating our life, blessing all we encounter, overcoming the prejudice, rebellion, hostility, and discord that engulfs the lives of so many. To have this truth inscribed upon our hearts, will radically change our life!
This is the result of being a "captive of Jesus Christ!" Paul's life was lived outside himself. Christ was the driving force of his life, whose love consumed the whole of his being! Fix our eyes and heart on Jesus Christ. That means, our focus does not vary from one concern to another. It compels us to maintain a commitment to His lordship and authority. This is not governed by our endeavor, but by daily resignation of heart and spirit to the full control of the Holy Spirit, working in our life..."conforming us to the image of His Son."

I am thankful that God leads us as captives in Christ's truimphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. Just to think about all that he has brought us out of or the things he has done for us and the promises made if we would only believe and trust in him he is awsome. I believe and trust that my Christ will bring me through anything and everything and that if it does not come as quickly as I would like it is because he is going to use whatever it is through me. I Love the Lord he is my Savior through everything I go through good and bad.
