Genesis 1 Creation/The Beginning: Key words "let Us make mankind in Our likeness" Here we see God speaking of The Holy Trinity, Father,Son, and Holy Spirit . And according to Scripture the full Trinity were present at the Creation. Genesis 1:1-2 The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters, and John 1:1-3 reveals the Word Jesus Christ was active in creation of all things. God is the Maker, and all of Creation belongs to Him.

God's original intention for mankind was for us to rule with Him. Obviously He is completely sovereign, but we are His heirs. We have been given power and authority. Adam & Eve allowed sin into the world, but Jesus Christ came and fixed it. We have been promised that power and authority again.
