It is interesting to see how God appears to still be sovereign and in control despite the decisions made by man. God ultimately has his purposes in mind and uses everything, even what appears to be bad choices at the time.

Our stomachs complain loudly to us when they are not satisfied. We can go many days without food, but rarely do because of the abundance available to us. The stomach's hunger makes it's commands seem louder and the most important; causing us to overlook things that should be obvious.

Interesting the short sightedness of a quick decision in the midst of a perceived crisis. It's like a warning, be patient, trust the Lord, seek first the Kingdom because God knows I need the life sustaining food. He will provide.
