I needed this today. I feel like I'm in the slimy pit and God seems so far away. I've even been questioning God and what I believe. My mom told me if I wanted answers from God to get in his word so here I am picking up where I stopped and God is answering me. Waiting is horrible especially when I'm in such a bad place financially. I know this and yet I didn't see it's me that's far away. I'm letting the devil win the war in my mind and just drifting right now. God bring me to solid ground and help me to plant my feet firm again.

Here we see David crying out to the Lord for help to lift him out of a slimy pit (Difficult situation). The same is for us in difficult or troubled times when we need God, we shouldn't be afraid to ask for God is our Rock and Foundation.

God rescued me from me! I stopped smoking a year ago,and this year to date I have been 61 days alcohol free with no desire for either! I got baptized March 30,2014 and God has truly set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand! I am so grateful! Even a wretch like me,thank you Jesus!
