A Snapshot of God’s Work Across Africa
When we think about Africa, we do not think of a single country or a single story. We think of movement.
Not rapid, headline-grabbing movement, but steady, persistent Gospel movement. The kind that unfolds in classrooms, in conversations, in churches, and in places where following Jesus carries real weight.
Across the continent, God’s hand continues to move.
In recent weeks, conversations with ministry partners have brought into focus just how powerfully the Gospel is advancing. What follows is both a snapshot and a glimpse into the moments that define this movement.
A Continental Snapshot
In just the past seven months, more than 1,750,000 invitations to meet Jesus have been shared across Africa.
Each invitation represents a moment. Someone stepping forward in faith to share Scripture, and someone else receiving the opportunity to encounter Jesus through His Word.
Movement in Action
This Gospel movement is taking shape in diverse and meaningful ways:
-
In Uganda, 30,000 students in schools and orphanages are receiving Gospel invitations and reading Scripture together, one chapter at a time.
-
In South Africa, 150,000 invitations across four major language groups are helping ministries connect evangelism with ongoing discipleship through PTL App Communities.
-
In Côte d’Ivoire, new doors are opening to launch French-language Gospel Communities, while evangelism teams continue expanding outreach through schools and campaigns.
-
In Nigeria, amid ongoing persecution, ministry leaders are pressing forward with extraordinary boldness, reaching students, training leaders, and inviting tens of thousands to meet Jesus.
-
In Kenya, pastors and ministry leaders are embracing digital discipleship in Swahili, ensuring that new believers and Christ-seekers are not left alone after saying “yes” to Jesus.
These moments are not accidental. They are the result of God’s provision, meeting both those who are searching and those who are faithfully sharing.
An Invitation to Pray
As this movement continues, we invite you to pray with us.
Pray for boldness among our partners, especially those serving in areas of real risk and opposition. Pray for leaders like Stephen Bahago and his team in Nigeria, who continue to stand firm and share the Gospel with courage.
Together, we are witnessing lives changed, not only through the invitation to meet Jesus, but through ongoing engagement with God’s Word.
And that is a snapshot worth holding onto.
