Filled with Christmas Blessings
Christmas is almost here! The air is filled with the sweet aroma of freshly baked cookies, joyful hymns, and the quiet awe that comes when we remember what this season truly means: the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14).
Last week, we reflected on encouraging signs here in America. This week, let’s broaden our vision. God is at work not only close to home but across the globe, and His love spreads wider than we can imagine.
As I think about this, I can’t help but picture a plate of Christmas cookies. Maybe you can relate, sneaking one or two before they make it to the table! This week, we have a “plateful” of greetings to share with you, messages of joy from League Partners all around the world. No sneaking necessary! You’re invited to enjoy them all right here: Merry Christmas from our partners.
Not every partner could safely share their greeting on video, but one message from China especially touched our hearts. They wrote:
“Wishing every Member of The Pocket Testament League a Merry Christmas! Warm greetings and best wishes from China. In this joyful Christmas season, we sincerely thank you for your continued support and prayers. It is because of your loving help and selfless dedication that the seeds of the Gospel can continue to be sown far and wide, taking root, sprouting, and flourishing in people’s hearts.”
What a powerful reminder that the Gospel knows no borders. Even in places where persecution makes public celebration difficult, God’s Word is alive and moving. Our brothers and sisters in China and across the world remain full of courage and faith.
From Pakistan to Moldova, from Italy to India, from South Africa up to every corner of the globe, God’s family is sharing in the joy of Christmas, the joy of Christ Himself.
As we approach Christmas, we’re filled with gratitude. We celebrate the greatest gift the world has ever received, our Savior Jesus Christ, and we’re thankful that together we’re sharing His Word and His love with others.
This Christmas, may your heart rest in the wonder of that Living Word, the One who came to dwell among us, that we might truly know Him.
Merry Christmas from all of us at The Pocket Testament League.
