Two Regions. One Partnership. Eternal Impact.
Partnership has always been at the heart of how God’s Word moves forward—and recent work alongside Justice and Mercy International (JMI) is a powerful reminder of what can happen when ministries unite with purpose.
Through this partnership, pastors were equipped to reach more than 3,000 people with the Gospel. At a recent pastors’ conference, leaders received Gospels of John in Portuguese, along with training and encouragement to carry the message of Jesus into their communities.
Their mission field is both vast and challenging: the Amazon.
In a region where access is difficult and resources are limited, these pastors are now stepping forward—equipped not only with Scripture, but with renewed confidence and calling. The short video below, shared by JMI leadership on the ground, captured the weight and significance of this moment: leaders being sent out, ready to bring the hope of Christ into places where it is deeply needed.
This is what partnership makes possible. It accelerates impact in ways that no single effort could accomplish alone.
And the work is continuing.
Beyond the Amazon, this same partnership is opening doors in Moldova, where 1,500 young people—mostly girls who have been rescued from trafficking—are being invited to encounter the healing power of Jesus. Many carry deep trauma, but the opportunity for true restoration is found in His Word.
To place Scripture into their hands is to offer more than a book; it is to offer hope, identity, and the beginning of healing.
Two regions. One partnership. Immediate and eternal impact.
These may not seem like the largest numbers in a world often driven by scale, but every life matters. God continues to open doors for both wide-reaching efforts and deeply personal ones—ensuring that individuals, one by one, have the opportunity to meet Him.
Prayers are deeply appreciated for both of these efforts: for the pastors serving in the Amazon and for the young lives being restored in Moldova.
Thank you for continuing to stand with The Pocket Testament League in making the Gospel known.
