Numbers 34:29
These are the men the Lord commanded to assign the inheritance to the Israelites in the land of Canaan.

Anotherdifficult chapter to chose a verse to comment on. We see that the Lord always put certain people in command, so that there was always a leader of each tribe who would be accountable to the Lord. Supposedly these men were honorable men who were no doubt chosen by Moses, who was the leader of leaders.

This was a difficult chapter, but God has chosen the best. And started with Moses to Joshua and Caleb. Middle of the week Blessing my brother in Christ. Had to replace my furnace today.

Generosity: We serve a God who is so Generous who provides more then we deserve. The nature of our inheritance is Given by God and His Word Its Eternal, Hebrews 9:15 For this reason Christ is the Mediator of a New Covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise Eternal Inheritance now that He has died as a Ransom to set them free from the Sins committed under the First Covenant.

What a meeting that must have been. I am wondering if they used what God has taught them or if the flesh took over before an agreement was settled upon. God wants us to love thy neighbor as ourself. Thinking of America and how it became a nation each in search of a better way with religious freedom. Seeing how messy it was to establish America makes me wonder what thoughts our ancestors had coming here and fighting for the right to freely worship. We take it for granted not looking back on their sacrifices as too I am sure some of the Israelites did, not remembering the lessons the generation before had to learn

Yes, we take a lot for granted. Think of all the people that lost their lives so that we could have the freedom to read the bible and how many bibles are covered with dust

Wow, God had so much more for children of Israel but they never came close to taking all of the territory God had given them. I wonder how much more God had planned for me that i never took advantage of because of my sin, fear or laziness. i must not be comfortable on this side of the Jordan and miss out on what God wants to do in and through me. Help me Lord Jesus to fight or press through the crowd and touch the hem of your garment to be heal of sin, fear, and laziness. Don't allow me to be comfortable with luke warmness.
