Many of us, as we try and share our faith, are concerned that we are not prepared to answer questions asked by people who do not follow Jesus, people who have shaped their beliefs from the wider world.

Do I really want to share the Gospel? After all, wasn’t Jesus the first Communist?

We were axe-throwing. I, and others, had never heaved a hatchet, so we gave it a try. Our “coach” was terrific. At the end of our session, I shared a Gospel of John with her. Her response was, “I love Jesus, he was the first communist!”
