Deuteronomy 2:7
The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.

We need to trust our Lord for all our needs as He knows us better than anyone or anything and knows the exactly what we need. For He is with us always and if we would just stop and look back at the past.....hasn't He brought us through what we thought we could not get through? Sometimes we may not always get things we want, but He gives us what He sees that we need.

You got that right Sherry. This was going to be the verse I choose too yet I went with verse 14. Yes He sure does provide our needs not necessarily our wants .

2 Chronicles 31:21
In everything that he undertook in the service of God's temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.

This verse shows me that if you stay in the will of the Lord, HE will provide for all our needs and being obedient to HIM is all he ask of us. Seeking the Lord always first, so that we have a closer walk with HIM. Giving honor, praise and respect to the Lord Almighty in every way, every day and in all that we do. We may not prosper in money or worldly things, but HE will give us what we need. Thank you Lord!

2 Chronicles 28:23
He offered sacrifices to the gods of Damascus, who had defeated him; for he thought, "Since the gods of the kings of Aram have helped them, I will sacrifice to them so they will help me." But they were his downfall and the downfall of all Israel.

I think this verse tells us that when we leave God out of our decisions and decide for ourselves before asking if it is "His will"; we should also be prepared for any or all consequences. Also there is only one God that we should worship and be faithful to and that is our Lord & Savior.

Yes, our God is a jealous God and He will have no other god's before Him or in His presence.

Yes, Sherry and Nancy, He's jealous "for" us like a loving parent that wants only the best for us and knows when we look outside of Him for anything we're playing with fire and will get burned. Papa good remind me that YOU are my source for EVERYTHING and that You only want what's best for me.

But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, and entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense.

We must always put God first, before anything and always be faithful to the Lord, for He is always faithful to us. The Lord can give and take it away. We are nothing without the Him and we must always be thankful in everything....good times and bad.
