The Gospel Is Advancing Across the Greater Middle East

The Greater Middle East continues to be one of the most active regions where the Gospel is advancing, and the numbers from the past 90 days tell a remarkable story. We’re seeing hundreds of thousands of people encounter God’s Word in places where that encounter is anything but easy.

In just the last 90 days:

  • Iran: nearly 140,000 engagements with the Gospel of John

  • Pakistan: nearly 130,000 engagements

  • Iraq: more than 55,000 engagements

  • Yemen: more than 30,000 engagements

  • Afghanistan: nearly 18,000 engagements

These numbers point to a simple reality: people are searching for Jesus. God’s Word, the seed, is being planted in soil we once thought was closed off. We know from Scripture that it won’t return void, and we’re watching that promise play out in real time.

That reality is shaping conversations with strategic League Partners too. In Pakistan, one partner recently told us, “The Gospel of Jesus Christ is reaching and impacting lives like never before in the history of Pakistan.” That’s not a small statement, and it’s not one we take lightly.

League Partners in Pakistan are preparing for Christmas outreach, and the vision is bold. Their goal is to invite more than 500,000 people to meet Jesus through Christmas Rallies held across six strategic cities:

  • Karachi (South): Pakistan’s largest city and economic center

  • Quetta (West): a key gateway city near the Afghan border

  • Sialkot (Northeast): a major commercial center near the Indian border

  • Gujranwala (North): one of Pakistan’s largest urban regions

  • Sheikhupura (Central Punjab): a rapidly growing population center

  • Mirpur Khas (Southeast): a key agricultural and commercial hub

But the vision doesn’t stop at Christmas. Each Gospel handed out at these Rallies will guide people to the READ CARRY SHARE® app, where League Partners are preparing to engage Christ seekers, answer their questions, and help new believers grow in their faith through an online community. It’s a next step designed to turn a single encounter into a lasting one. The long-term goal, as one partner puts it, is “to impact 7 million lives through PTL rallies in Pakistan.”
